Montville Idol Winner Releases First Music Video

Alus performed at Neiman Marcus' 'Fashion Night Out' this month, showing off her 'vintage pop' style.

Just like "American Idol" produces pop stars, so does Montville Idol.

At least that's what happened for 18-year-old Amanda Lustbader who has gone on to perform at Neiman Marcus' "Fashion Night Out" in the Short Hills Mall after winning Montville's local singing competition, according to NorthJersey.com.

Lustbader calls herself "Alus" in the music world and performs a genre of music she likes to call "vintage pop." The Montville Township High School graduate is inspired by the sounds and fashions of the Motown and '50s era.
