ReplyWhat absolute garbage. What foothold in Morris County and what Liberal Media is supporting the Democrats and declaring war on Republicans. How many of those towns even have any local Elected Democrat on their governing bodies. All this letter does is express the dishonest views of the signers.

LOL, Democrats haven't been in control of the Township Committee since 1962 unless you feel That 1 Democrat against 4 Republicans can control them.

Momcheer, Not what I said. The property was not purchased for a dog park. It did cost $60,000.00 to build it and that was what I thought the question was. The article itself talks of moving the Gardens which I know some Gardeners will be upset about and reading the comments some people clearly want to eliminate thingas that they personally don't use no matter who else thinks they are of value.

ReplyBob That area is wetlands (believe it or not). The Dog Park was about $60,000.00 9 or 10 years ago. I am not sure how many people are signed up at the Dog Park but it is usefull, especially for dog owners who live in Townhouse and Condo Communities. Seems to be busy. The soils under the Dog Park would not support a roller or skate board park.

ReplyLack of Leadership is leading us to have one group seeking something at the expense of another. It is wrong. It doesn't have to be that way. Many gardeners have been working their plots for years. The idea that someone has to get punished to serve someone else comes from a Township Government without a clue.

On the article Candidate's Military Service Continues to Fuel County Clerk Race

ReplyI don't get why some Republicans laud service in the military but attack people who rightfully list their military service as a part of their qualifications for public office. I happens all the time with some of these Republicans. The fact of his service is a qualification and ought to be viewed that way. I am not going to vote for any of these people unless I decide that the Democrat is not a good choice but I look in wonderment at their behavior.

Brian, 100 percent right on target. If they can't have the security of tenure then they will jump around and there is always another Board willing to pay them more.

There is nothing I know of for not making a citizens complaint to the police department if the Library won't do it. Publicly exposing children to pornographic material is a crime. Let's see what a Judge will do with it. If the Police won't write the Complaint than any citizen can do the same thing. Keeping children out of the Library is just a bad idea. It is a part of the education of those children and should not be denied.
