Religion is for the simple, those who "need" it.

Your case needs to be rested because it is overly tired and the public has heard so much more from you than it wants. If I felt the need to measure myself against you and your bigoted pals, I would certainly be very able to do so. Since I am not running for office and do not need your approval, I will not give you the satisfaction of more information about me than is already out there. Your misinformation about the Tea Party and others is so wrong and so self-indulgent that anyone with sense would see that you do not have the intellect to really help develop community growth, except through the growth of taxation which you will grant to win new votes.
For myself, I am just doing my best to keep the public informed of the phonies who are trying to take advantage of them. And on which imbecile blog did you learn that THE Tea Party is "anti-education, anti-science and anti-good government with a tinge of racism"? Talk about self-serving. If you read Patch and not just your own comments, you would certainly know which town I live in and what I have said and stood for on the Public Record. By the way, you are correct. Your record speaks for itself and you...very clearly.

Say what you want but so far there has been no comment from you that hasn't been either an attack or defensive. I certinly am not alone in my belief that the Tea Party is anti- education, anti-science and anti-good government with a tinge of racism. What Town do you live in? Where is your name on the Public Record. I haven't seen on positive thing you have stood for in regard to community. I am not being sanctimonious just sure of myself and my record is what speaks not me. What ballot position have you been on and put your thoughts before the people for their judgement? The answer? None I would bet. We have seen movements like your before and they always bring out the worst in people. Look at you and what you have posted to me. I rest my case.

You are such a sanctimonious person! You think that because you say you are for "community" and other good sounding topics that people should believe you and trust in you. I do not agree with you or your politics. Why does that make me less viable than you. You are so arrogant to believe and write that you know you do more for community than I do. You paint whole groups of people with a broad brush of your bigotry and self-serving importance. You are clearly not a bright person and certainly not smart enough to represent the accomplished people of Montville or Morris County. You paint values on THE Tea Party that not only are incorrect but are characteristics of the American people at large. You think that THE Tea Party "just forced the Country to near default and caused the downgrading of America's credit". That comment alone earns you the title of "foolish politician wannabee". My response to you is not to defend the Tea Party but to illuminate your lack of knowledge.

You get free things from society all the time and like most Tea Party people just don't want to admit it. On a national level the Tea Party just forced the Country to near default and caused the downgrading of America's credit and are proud of it. Locally they cost the Towaco Firedistrct a good dedicated employee and a shortfall in their budget and they did it with the same "I don't care about community " attitude. You can insult me all you want, that too is a Tea Party Staple. I know what I have contributed to my town. I can take a ride around the Township everyday and see the things that I and the other members of the Governing body have done. You should take some times and go through my other blogs like the one on Lance Corp. Michael Sellito and the one I did on The Fight against Cancer and get a better picture but you won't because facts don't matter to you.

Of course I make my judgements based upon my idealogy. And it is fine! I am not running for office nor do I want anything from anyone for free so I do not need to try to impress you with my accomplishments nor what I have done to improve society or community. What you see from me is an adversary because we are diametrically opposed to each other and you want something and I do not.
Your comments about THE Tea Party are so incorrect, so bigoted and so dishonest that I must engage you so that good citizens do not get taken in by your effort at building a reason for your candidacy. And you are also right in that most of the good people who I know would never be taken in by your smarmy pap.

You know nothing about me or what I accomplished during my tenure. You make your judgements based on your ideaology and that's fine. Except that so far I haven't seen anything about community or making a better place to live for everyone or support for those things in society that make life better. All I see from you is your belief that you come first and only you are important. That isn't the history of my service and you couldn't even imagine what it takes to work to make your community better. You are just another typical "tear down" tea party guy. Talk to who ever you want. If they are friends of yours I doubt that I would have their support anyway.

Mr. Grant,
I suspect that you served yourself well during your 15 year tenure. Please use your blog-time describing your view of me and THE Tea Party. The fact is that I trust ME to spend my charity money, but certainly not you. I feel fully competent to spend my money but do not trust politicians not to use my money to gain power for themselves and their interests. I will be very glad to share your views with my many friends in MONTVILLE. I am sure you will be able to count on their votes.

Another self indulgent rant by Hank, I served for 15 years and the operative word is served. You strike me as a completely self involved person who has never done anything for anyone else and that is the hallmark of a Tea Party Person.

NOW I understand your blogging approach! You are running for OFFICE!!! OK, so you need attention and name recognition. You attack the "Tea Party" because you need a cause, honest or not. My representation that the Morristown Tea Party Organization welcomes Democrats (and all other citizens) is absolutely true. My labeling you a Socialist or a Communist is also true. You are only interested in redistributing others wealth. That certainly smacks of Socialism and/or Communism. You call yourself a Democrat but all the people I asked about you have told me that you are the most left-leaning person ever elected in Morris County. Tell me again about the "common good" and "sense of Community". How about good old American entrepreneurship and hard work providing for our needs. I expect the people of Montville know enough about you now to keep you on the sidelines.
By the way, I have heard from more reliable sources than you that the first Tea Party event in Morristown was civil and well behaved. If there is an event that you will speak at, I will do my best to attend. I may have some questions for you to deal with. Please make "THE Tea Party" your topic to hang your political hat on. If you were really interested in knowing about THE Tea Party, you would know that the only thing that most Tea Party groups agree on is that it does not like people with your set of beliefs representing them. It will be fun watching you be labeled Mr. Irrelevant.

I know what the Greater Tea Party of Montville did in Montville Township and I know from first hand knowledge how these supporters behaved in Morristown for their first event. I have seen nationally how they have behaved in Congress. You obviously disagree and that is fine. Your representation that they welcome Democrats is just silly as is you calling me a socialist. We are political adversaries who see the need for government in two different ways and I believe yours is destructive to any sense that we are all in this together. I served my community for 15 years and left it as one of the best small towns in America and within a year after I left office we had a AAA rating. I am running again this year and if the Tea Party has a local debate I will be there and I will be pushing a sense of Community and the common good.

Thank you for your response. Your work background does not help me to understand your politics. Your blogging does firmly establish you at the very least a Socialist, or perhaps more. Your opinions are completely juvenile as relates to "THE TEA PARTY" because you clearly have a need to depict your adversary in terms that do not have integrity. It does not matter what participants explain to you, you maintain your course even
though you have no personal knowledge. If you want to know what a Tea Party organization is about, I will invite you to the next MORRISTOWN Tea Party meeting. I promise you will be treated more decently than you treat those whom you have decided to take umbrage with. And you will get home safely.

Mr. Heller,
I have spent my working life as a person who made his own money as an auto broker buying vehicles (with my own money) because I felt I could make a profit selling them. It is the very essence of Capitalism. I used my judgement as to what the vehicle was worth and how much I could get for it. I started no week with a guarenteed paycheck and earned what ever through the course of the week. So why don't we eliminate the (Socialist/Communist) comments right now. I served as an elected Democrat for 5 terms over 15 years in a town that was 4-1 Republican. I don't believe the Tea Party is honest with itself so why would I believe it is honest in it's public face. I don't hate anyone but I don't like ignorance and lies. I have writen many remarks critical of the Democratic Party especially in NJ where I consider it to be a corrupt organization. But those are different issues. I hold no paid position from the Party and speack out of my own beliefs.

Mr. Grant,
What is your work background, if I may ask? I am really trying to understand why you continuously portray the Tea Party, which you obviously know nothing substantive about, in the most inaccurate ways. Even when your queries are answered honestly, you continue on painting those you have chosen to hate in dishonest terms. I would really like to know what you are really reaching toward. You speak as a Democrat but endorse the programs of Socialism and Communism. What are you and why are you writing what you are writing? Are you looking to be rewarded by the Obama administration with a new position? Please help me to have a more perfect understanding of Donald Grant.

Mr. Grant, if you promote your blog in every post, it might do to actually post a link in your profile. I do not promise to support or frequently visit it, but give other posters a chance. :)
