'Real Housewives' Joe Giudice Headed to Trial

Giudice rejects state's final plea deal, hopes to avoid prison time.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice does not want to spend time in prison, so much so that he has rejected the state's final plea deal in the case of him allegedly using his brother's ID to get a driver's license and would rather go to trial for the charges. The trial is expected to begin May 28. Forty-three-year-old Giudice, a Towaco resident, was arrested in 2010 after authorities claim he attempted to use his brother's information to obtain a new driver's license when his own was suspended for DWI charges. Giudice, who is married to Bravo reality star Teresa Giudice, has rejected plea offers before, but according to The Record, his recent rejection was in lieu of a possible five years in state prison.

Teresa Giudice Could Testify in Husband's Fraud Trial

Joe Giudice still expected to stand trial for charges of using his brother's personal information to obtain driver's license.

As "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's husband, Joe, awaits his trial on charges of possessing a fraudulent ID, his sometimes outspoken wife may take the witness stand in his defense, according to Perez Hilton. The celebrity news website also reported that Giudice's lawyer is blaming the star's reality television fame for the potential penalty of him going to state prison on the charges. Giudice was indicted last December after being charged in March of 2011. He was arrested in his Towaco home. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office alleged Giudice had used his brother's identifying information to obtain a driver's license from the Department of Motor Vechicles in Paterson in June 2010. RHONJ Star Confronted By Bear

Melissa Gorga takes to Twitter to tell fans about her staring contest with a cub in her Montville driveway.

Not all bears are hibernating and neither is "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga who tweeted about coming face-to-face with a cub in her Montville driveway Thursday. Gorga, who is selling her house on Pond View, wrote that she returned home to find a furry friend near her house. "Just pulled into my driveway to find a baby bear staring right into my eyes... Staring contest... #frozen #itran #iwon," she wrote on Twitter.
