Update at 12:10 p.m. Friday One of the stars of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" alleges a Paramus man threatened to kill her and provoked a large fight between her and several other cast members at a Ridgewood grand opening March 30. Jacqueline Laurita testified at Johnny Karagiorgis' probable cause hearing Friday morning that the 38-year-old Rutt's Hutt employee was told not to come to the Posche II grand opening, according to a report on northjersey.com. Despite that, Laurita testified, he showed up with a body guard and was ready to fight. That night, a sink was reportedly thrown and clothes trampled during the brawl. Giudice rejects state's final plea deal, hopes to avoid prison time.
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice does not want to spend time in prison, so much so that he has rejected the state's final plea deal in the case of him allegedly using his brother's ID to get a driver's license and would rather go to trial for the charges. The trial is expected to begin May 28. Forty-three-year-old Giudice, a Towaco resident, was arrested in 2010 after authorities claim he attempted to use his brother's information to obtain a new driver's license when his own was suspended for DWI charges. Giudice, who is married to Bravo reality star Teresa Giudice, has rejected plea offers before, but according to The Record, his recent rejection was in lieu of a possible five years in state prison.

Montville's Joe Gorga and two other cast members accused of assaulting a man at the grand opening of a Ridgewood business on Saturday say they were the victims.
Three cast members of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, including Montville resident Joe Gorga, have filed counterclaims against a Paramus man who says he was beaten in a sink-throwing brawl Saturday night. Gorga, and Chris and Jacqueline Laurita each filed counterclaims Thursday at Ridgewood Police Headquarters alleging that Johnny Karagiorgis, 38, assaulted and threatened them Saturday at the grand opening of Kim DePaola's Posche 2 clothing boutique in Ridgewood. By the time the brawl was broken up by security, clothes were trampled, sinks were destroyed and blood stained the walls of 74 East Ridgewood Avenue. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and Montville resident Melissa Gorga is sharing her secrets to keeping her marriage alive and vibrant in her soon-to-be-released first book, "Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage." The book's cover was revealed this week to US Magazine, as well as the pre-order date of Sept. 17, when fans can read Gorga's practical tips on keeping the love alive at home. Gorga first announced the book in December after the fourth season of the Bravo hit television show wrapped. The housewives have already begun taping the fifth season of the show, although Bravo has not yet announced a release date. As "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's husband, Joe, awaits his trial on charges of possessing a fraudulent ID, his sometimes outspoken wife may take the witness stand in his defense, according to Perez Hilton. The celebrity news website also reported that Giudice's lawyer is blaming the star's reality television fame for the potential penalty of him going to state prison on the charges. Giudice was indicted last December after being charged in March of 2011. He was arrested in his Towaco home. Drama heats up between siblings as taping of upcoming season of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' continues.
As taping for the next season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is underway, it seems as though much of the same drama will be shown, particularly between siblings and Montville residents Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga. While filming, Gorga was upset that Giudice did not visit him in the hospital during a recent stay where he was being treated for the flu, according to The Christian Post. Not all bears are hibernating and neither is "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga who tweeted about coming face-to-face with a cub in her Montville driveway Thursday. Gorga, who is selling her house on Pond View, wrote that she returned home to find a furry friend near her house. "Just pulled into my driveway to find a baby bear staring right into my eyes... Joe Gorga taken to hospital after 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star caught virus.
Even celebrities get sick. As flu season is now in full-force, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Joe Gorga, of Towaco, is feeling the effects of the virus. So much so, that he had to be hospitalized, according to US Weekly. The magazine reported that Gorga's wife and castmate on the show Melissa Gorga attempted to care for him at home first, but he still needed the help of medical professionals.
