Sharpe's new job and DiMarco's birthday highlight this week's episode.
This week's episode of "Jerseylicious" was broken down into two very different pieces—a mid-life crisis at age 25 and moving forward with a new career. Part of the episode focused on Montville High School graduate Olivia Blois Sharpe's new gig at Bergen.com, as she began to learn the ins and outs of being a tv stylist. After an incident with the copy machine (it is difficult to navigate), she got to see how her mentor, and boss, handles a segment on style. And then she got the opportunity to do it herself. "I was really excited to do my own haul, but I was a little worried about making it up to par," Sharpe said in the "Jerseylicious" style blogs. "When you're asked to talk directly to a camera, and you have to think carefully about what …

Castmates say new season will allow viewers to catch a glimpse of life outside the salon.
The themes of Season 5 of The Style Network's "Jerseylicious" are pretty much the same as those of the past four seasons, as described by castmate Jackie Bianchi. "It's about love, friendships, family, drama, anxiety, backstabbing," she said. "It's basically our lives outside of the salon." Several "Jerseylicious" stars gathered at Route 46 Lounge in Totowa Monday night for a premiere party for their show, which depicts hair stylists at work in the Green Brook salon The Gatsby. The castmates were joined by other reality television stars such as Ashley Holmes and Kim G. from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Bianchi, a Montville Township High School graduate, said this season of the show will explore more of the home lives of the stars …

Montville graduate says she'll be back in Season 5, but not at the salons viewers have come to associate her with.
The second part of the "Jerseylicious" cast reunion ended with Montville High School graduate Olivia Blois-Sharpe discussing her plans for the future. As fans will remember, Blois-Sharpe announced at the end of Season 4 that she would be leaving the Gatsby Salon and the Anthony Roberts Salon to launch her own business. Viveca Fox, hostess of the reunion show, asked if that meant she wouldn't be returning to "Jerseylicious," but Blois-Sharpe assured her that Season 5 would not be without Ooh Lalaa Livia. But past that, Blois-Sharpe can't provide too much detail. "I hope for the best, but I don't know where it's going to take me," she said. "I'm almost 25-years-old and never once had a plan, and it's turned out pretty well." Read more …

The 'Jerseylicious' cast gathers for a reunion show.
The claws came out on "Jerseylicious" Sunday, as the cast gathered for a reunion special on season four, which led to an all-out brawl between a boyfriend and fiance. Much of the focus of Sunday's episode centered on the relationship between former Montville Township High School graduate, and makeup artist, Olivia Blois Sharpe and hair stylist Tracy DiMarco. The women discussed their growing feud, and managed to continue the fighting on the reunion itself. "We've never gotten along, and we've always been upfront [about that]," Sharpe said. "Now I think it's worse because there's a lot of shadiness and fakeness." Click here for more of Montville Patch's coverage of "Jerseylicious." Sharpe said this continued fighting is part of why she's …

There's good news for everyone this week.
The season finale of Style Network's "Jerseylicious" recaps Gatsby Salon owner Gayle Giacomo's successful "Gallery of Beauty" event in Atlantic City, which turns into a launch pad for Montville High School graduate Olivia Blois Sharpe's career plans. The event draws 12 studios from across the state participating, who will present their interpretation of famous works of art at the Trump Taj Mahal, recreated with live models. The winning studio receives a trip to Dubai, and the runner-up wins a $5,000 shopping spree for salon furniture, courtesy of Minerva Beauty. Each of the salons is anxious for the opportunity to showcase their strengths, and Blois-Sharpe plans her own presentation as the Ooh Lalaa Livia Salon. "This event is the biggest…

Episode features clips from the first four seasons of show.
In Sunday's episode reviewing highligts from the first four seasons of The Style Network's "Jerseylicious," viewers got to know more about the cast. The show reviewed many of the more memorable moments from the episodes, featured trivia questions at commercial breaks, and offered insights into the turning points of the characters' lives. Starting with Gatsby Salon stylist Tracy DeMarco's adventurous fashion sensibilities, the show reviewed some of her high points and low points. Her closing comment to gawkers was, "Don't hate us because we're beautiful." The source of DeMarco's motto—"The higher the hair, the closer you are to heaven"—was also revealed on the episode. She said when she was a freshman in high school, styles called for …

And Olivia Blois Sharpe takes a crack at business on her own.
The goal was to remind everyone that the Gatsby is one of New Jersey's premiere salons as owner, and Bridgewater resident, Gayle Giacomo began preparations for "Gatsby Presents Timeless Classic Beauty" on this week's episode of "Jerseylicious." For Giacomo, she was concerned about reminding people that the Gatsby is a leader in the salon industry despite losing out to the Anthony Roberts Salon in an article about top salons in "Modern Salon" magazine. Click here to read more Montville Patch coverage of "Jerseylicious." Giacomo decided to hold an expo, and invite other salons to participate in choosing a famous painting and recreating it by doing the hair and makeup of their stylists and having them pose within a frame—thereby recreating …

Mom gets mad when son is not included in Modern Salon photo shoot.
While the "Jerseylicious" castmates are often adorned in bling, this week, one of them got a diamond ring. Alexa Prisco, owner of the Glam Factory, in Hoboken, got engaged to her boyfriend Danny Ziegler on Sunday night's episode of The Style Network show, which also stars Montville Township High School graduate Olivia Blois Sharpe. According to The Style Network blog, Ziegler said he was not too nervous to ask Prisco to marry him. Almost immediately after saying "yes," castmates began planning a glamorous engagement party. But Prisco's best friend, John Kutlu, was offended when he was asked by Cathy Giove to merely assist with Prisco's engagement party. Check out more Montville Patch coverage of "Jerseylicious" here. "I will not be an …

And a weavologist pushes hairstylist Tracy DiMarco's buttons.
When stylist Tracy DiMarco and Gatsby Salon owner Gayle Giacomo join a hair weaving class organized by Anthony Roberts Salon owner Anthony Lombardi, the Gatsby Image team is shorthanded for a pending consulting job. So manager Christy Periera joins Miguel and Olivia Blois Sharpe on the consultation—and Olivia's not too happy about it. "Now, this image consulting job is me, the guy who nearly took over my job, and the one person in the salon who doesn't do any hair or nails," she says. The client, Amy, is seeking a change for her online dating posts, hoping to find better matches. "I'm really excited," Christy said. But things go awry at the clinet's house, as Christy and Olivia clash over styling choices. In a sidebar Olivia calls Christy…

Sharpe and DiMarco add image consulting to Gatsby 2 Go.
On this week's episode of "Jerseylicious," Tracy DiMarco and Olivia Blois Sharpe tried to change their image at the Gatsby Salon by changing the images of local women. To come back from an embarassing Gatsby 2 Go event where their assistants—Migual and Krystle—took over and received the credit, DiMarco and Sharpe, a Montville High School graduate, opted to add another layer to their business with image consulting. But not everyone was convinced it was such a good idea. "If you really think making yourselves busier is the solution, that makes no sense," said Gayle Giacomo, owner of the Gatsby Salon and Bridgewater resident. "You can't even handle the task of doing someone's hair and makeup, and going home," said manager Christy Pereira. But…
