Non-essential Morris County government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, but essential personnel must report to work as scheduled, according to an announcement from the county government. The Morris County Office of Emergency Managment said it will continue to work to meet critical needs and the government offices were closing to assist with preserving fuel amid gas shortages. "In order to assist with preserving fuel, Morris County government offices will close Thursday and Friday for non-essential personnel," the OEM said in a message on its Facebook page.
