Montville Chamber Citizen of the Year: Deane Driscoll
Volunteer helps bring in $14,000 grant from Bayer Health Care Pharmaceuticals.
Montville volunteer Deane Driscoll was chosen as Citizen of the Year by the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce. Driscoll was honored as a result of the chamber's annual awards selection. "Anyone that knows Deane knows how hard he works in this town on a number of fronts and I think you'll all agree that it's well deserved," Mayor Tim Braden said. The chamber began soliciting nominations for several categories of awards in September. According to information provided by the organization, the Citizen of the Year honor would be awarded to "an outstanding, well-rounded citizen who lives or works in Montville and has demonstrated exemplary service by way of volunteerism and community involvement."
