The Venetian in Garfield was the fashionable place to be Thursday night as Posh Boutique in Montville staged a dress and bikini fashion event hosted by "Real Housewives of NJ" stars Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile. The sold-out event included a number of vendors with an array of products from "Sparkle," custom-made shoes to hand-dipped berries. The evening included a dinner and opportunities to rub elbows with business owners, designers, entrepreneurs and reality TV celebrities. 'Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage' will be available for pre-order Sept. 17.
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and Montville resident Melissa Gorga is sharing her secrets to keeping her marriage alive and vibrant in her soon-to-be-released first book, "Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage." The book's cover was revealed this week to US Magazine, as well as the pre-order date of Sept. 17, when fans can read Gorga's practical tips on keeping the love alive at home. Gorga first announced the book in December after the fourth season of the Bravo hit television show wrapped. The housewives have already begun taping the fifth season of the show, although Bravo has not yet announced a release date. Though Bravo has not given any "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" fans even a taste of what's to come on the fifth season of the Jersey-taped reality show, Caroline Manzo stepped out to tell one publication that some scenes will be "completely out of whack." The Franklin Lakes resident and eldest housewife told Wetpaint that she was surprised by the way some scenes ended up, expecting the outcomes to be different going into filming, as reported by examiner.com. Two families from the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" television show who have been battling since the end of the Bravo reality show's last season in October broke bread at the Stone House restaurant in Warren Monday, reality TV-news show OMG! reported. According to post on the OMG! on Yahoo website, Towaco resident Teresa Guidice was at a party celebrating the opening of a hair care salon at the restaurant when her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, of Montville, entered. Drama heats up between siblings as taping of upcoming season of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' continues.
As taping for the next season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is underway, it seems as though much of the same drama will be shown, particularly between siblings and Montville residents Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga. While filming, Gorga was upset that Giudice did not visit him in the hospital during a recent stay where he was being treated for the flu, according to The Christian Post. The Christian Post Reports that Gorga confronted Giudice, asking her why she did not visit him in the hospital, but Giudice replied that Gorga's wife, Melissa Gorga, had never told her he was there. Not all bears are hibernating and neither is "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga who tweeted about coming face-to-face with a cub in her Montville driveway Thursday. Gorga, who is selling her house on Pond View, wrote that she returned home to find a furry friend near her house. "Just pulled into my driveway to find a baby bear staring right into my eyes... Staring contest... #frozen #itran #iwon," she wrote on Twitter. While seeing a bear may not seem shocking to Montville residents, Gorga's fans from other parts of the country seemed surprised by her tweet. Joe Gorga taken to hospital after 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star caught virus.
Even celebrities get sick. As flu season is now in full-force, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Joe Gorga, of Towaco, is feeling the effects of the virus. So much so, that he had to be hospitalized, according to US Weekly. The magazine reported that Gorga's wife and castmate on the show Melissa Gorga attempted to care for him at home first, but he still needed the help of medical professionals. Last year, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga wanted to show the world she can sing. This year, she's trying to prove she can write. Gorga is scheduled to release her first book, "Love, Italian Style: The Secrets of my Hot and Happy Marriage," soon. She first announced the book herself on her Facebook page Wednesday. "I'm soo excited! You are going to love this!" she wrote. Gorga, of Montville, and her husband, Joe Gorga, have seemingly had no problem being publicly affectionate on television in scenes of the Bravo show. There will soon be a new housewife in town-a real housewife. Gia Casey, wife of DJ Envy, who owns a home in Kinnelon, will join the cast of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," according to RadarOnline.com. Two other new housewives will also join the show, Noelle Brescia and Priscilla DiStacio. All three of the women reportedly have ties to Towaco resident and castmate Teresa Guidice. To make way for the new housewives, RadarOnline reported that Caroline Manzo, of Franklin Lakes, and Kathy Wakile, of Wayne, will not be featured on the show again during Season 5. After five months, season four of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” ended Sunday night when the third and final part of the series’ reunion special aired.
