'Little House' Will Get New Roof Saturday
Volunteers to return to Passaic Valley Road site to continue renovations for local groups' new home.
Volunteers are continuing to put the finishing touches on renovations to a Passaic Valley Road property known as the "Little House" so that three local groups can move in and make the house a home. Once completed, the house will be used by the Montville Township Recreation Department, the Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry and the Montville Police Explorers program. Currently, the food pantry is using space at the Montville United Methodist Church but does not have enough room for storage and the Explorers are using the police station for training, although coordinator Frank Cooney said it would be better to be out of officers' way in a separate facility.
