'Jerseylicious' Stars Celebrate Season 5 Premiere

Castmates say new season will allow viewers to catch a glimpse of life outside the salon.

The themes of Season 5 of The Style Network's "Jerseylicious" are pretty much the same as those of the past four seasons, as described by castmate Jackie Bianchi. "It's about love, friendships, family, drama, anxiety, backstabbing," she said. "It's basically our lives outside of the salon." Several "Jerseylicious" stars gathered at Route 46 Lounge in Totowa Monday night for a premiere party for their show, which depicts hair stylists at work in the Green Brook salon The Gatsby. The castmates were joined by other reality television stars such as Ashley Holmes and Kim G. from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Bianchi, a Montville Township High School graduate, said this season of the show will explore more of the home lives of the stars …

'Jerseylicious': Liscio Rehired, Vacation Postponed

Montville grad Olivia Blois Sharpe visits Amish country instead of Atlantic City.

Work on the new Anthony Robert Salon is taking longer than expected, which sets "Jerseylicious" plot twists in motion in this week's episode that culminates in the rehiring of Gigi Liscio by The Gatsby Salon. Gatsby owner Gayle Giacomo, a Bridgewater resident, says she needs Olivia Blois Sharpe to cancel a planned weeklong vacation because two stylist positions that were held by Liscio and Tracey DiMarco, whom Giacomo fired at the end of last season for lining up jobs with Anthony Robert Salon, still haven't been filled. Blois Sharpe, a Montville Township High School graduate, agrees to postpone her vacation to help her boss and decides to visit Amish country with her boyfriend as a weekend trip instead. ("Do you have any leopard print? Or…

'Jerseylicious:' Season 3

Olivia Blois Sharpe Redecorates

The Montville grad brings her style to her salons—no pink or cheetah prints allowed.

On this week’s episode of "Jerseylicious," former Towaco resident Olivia Blois Sharpe redecorates her station at Anthony Roberts Salon, and helps prepare the Gatsby for its future. The show follows Blois Sharpe and her coworkers at both salons. Blois Sharpe’s old boss and coworker Alexa Prisco comes to visit Anthony Roberts while she is there.  Also present is fellow Montville graduate Jackie Bianchi, who once again is limited to (admittedly brilliant) facial expressions, this time in Prisco’s direction, rather than any lines. Prisco takes a look around and tells owner Anthony Lombardi that his salon could use some redecoration. Lombardi says he is not going to spend money on upgrading a space he does not want to stay in much longer. …

Posh Boutique Owner Promotes Reality Stars

Jairo Arias works with cast members from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' 'Jerseylicious' and 'Jersey Shore.'

Montville business owner Jairo Arias works for several hot New Jersey reality stars including Jackie Bianchi and Lorenzo Gangala from "Jerseylicious," Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from "Jersey Shore," and Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."  “New Jersey is hot right now and everyone is fighting to get a piece of it,” he said. Yet Arias, who owns Posh Boutique across from Towaco Train Station, considers himself “a boutique owner who has the pleasure of managing and booking reality stars,” not a manager who owns a boutique. He has been running the boutique online since 2007, and in Montville since 2010.  “This is right when it was starting with Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, and people going ‘Oh my …

'Jerseylicious:' Season 3

From Montville Grad to 'Jerseylicious' Star

Jackie Bianchi on her rise to fame, her plans and the truth behind the reality.

“Jerseylicious” fans might recognize Jackie Bianchi from last season’s New Jersey Fashion Week episode. Or, from an episode a few weeks ago when she talked with show star Olivia Blois Sharpe about apologizing to another cast member, Tracy DiMarco, who was kicked by Blois Sharpe. But some Montville residents may remember her as Jackie Carbone, a Pine Brook resident and 2006 graduate of Montville Township High School. Bianchi and Blois Sharpe graduated from the school the same year. Bianchi returned to Montville's Posh Boutique, owned by her manager, Jairo Arias, to discuss her rise to reality show fame. While Bianchi's role on “Jerseylicious,” a reality TV show set in a salon that is now in its third season, has been relatively small so far…

Olivia Blois Sharpe Does Smoky Eye for Kelly Ripa on 'Jerseylicious'

Olivia Blois Sharpe impresses with makeup skills and crazy outfit.

This week’s “Jerseylicious” has Towaco native Olivia Blois Sharpe performing her trademark smoky eye on none other than Jersey girl Kelly Ripa from "Live with Regis and Kelly." The show follows Blois Sharpe and her coworkers at the Gatsby Salon in Green Brook. Blois Sharpe’s first big scene this episode is at hairstylist Gigi Liscio’s apartment, which is in the same complex as her own. Liscio has a day off coming up, and has decided to throw a party to get to know the neighbors. She asks Blois Sharpe if she should invite her “friend,” ex-boyfriend Frankie Buglione. “I think it’s good that Frankie and Gigi are, you know, they’re starting to talk again, but I’m not sure ‘friends’ is the best route to go. We all know they still have feelings …

This Week's 'Jerseylicious': Blois Sharpe Recognizes Ironic Situation

Towaco native has to split up two feuding assistants.

This week’s “Jerseylicious” has Towaco native Olivia Blois Sharpe caught in a familiar (but dramatic) situation and also features Pine Brook native Jackie Bianchi. The show follows the Montville pair and a large group of hairstylists, makeup artists and other characters from several New Jersey salons. The show opens with hairstylist Tracy DiMarco telling her coworkers that she has decided to pursue an internship with Vogue. Blois Sharpe points out that one does not just decide to become a part of Vogue. “That’s like me thinking I’m going to walk up to Lady Gaga’s house and ring the doorbell and say ‘Hi, I’m going to be your new makeup artist,’” she said. “The world doesn’t work like that. I wish it did. I’d be at her door right now." Of …
