Manzo Boys From 'Real Housewives' Face Lawsuit After Bar Fight

University police officer files suit against RHONJ cast members for injuries sustained in a brawl at posh Dominican Republic resort.

A February bar fight in the Dominican Republic between cast members of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and a family celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary has resulted in lawsuits.  According to a report in the Chicago Tribune, Adolfo Arreola and his cousin Jason Gomez have filed lawsuits in New York and Miami against Joe Giudice, Chris and Albie Manzo, Bravo TV and the Hard Rock Cafe's parent company in Miami.  The suits stem from a Feb. 23 altercation at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino bar in Punta Cana that began when "RHONJ's" Teresa Giudice allegedly sprayed champagne on Arreola’s mother-in-law then laughed as the drenched 53-year-old woman tried to wipe the alcohol from her eyes. Arreola reportedly suffered a broken arm, blurred …

Montville and Towaco Homes Appear in 'Real Housewives'

Wondering where the action was in this week's episode?

In addition to scenes at all the Housewives homes this week—Melissa's in Montville, Teresa's in Towaco, the Wakile's in Wayne and the Franklin Lakes homes of the Manzo and Laurita families, here—some north Jersey business showed up seen in this week's episode:   Early in the episode, Caroline and Al get some couple time on the golf course, which we believe to be the High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes. Erez Boutique, 25 N. Dean St. in Englewood. Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge on Route 17, to buy a new car for Ashley.  Northstars Gymnastics and Cheerleading in Boonton as Gia nervously competed while waiting for her Uncle Joe to show up.  Bonus Boys to Manzo sighting: Chris Manzo wearing a Something Sophisticated baseball cap in last week'…

Montville Residents Comment on 'Real Housewives' Feud

No end in sight for the sister-in-laws.

Season three of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" moved to a new day and time this week. With the airing of the fifth episode last night, it is clear the feud between Montville Township residents Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga has not come close to being resolved. “This has been drawn out way too much and the story behind this family feud is becoming old news,” said Michael Santoro of Pine Brook. “I understand the need for dramatic effect but a five-week cliffhanger is a bit much.” Candace Harrison of Towaco disagreed. “The season is refreshing having lost a key character or two [Danielle Staub and Dina Manzo],” she said. “The drama is stronger than ever and it means more when it’s between family members.” The episode hinted at the …

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Season 3

Real Housewives: Where They Were in This Week's Episode

Wondering where the action was in this week's episode?

In Monday's episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, much of the action took place in the Housewives' homes. Here's a rundown of the episode:  The show began at the Wakile house in Wayne before moving to Divine Studio on East 4th Street in New York City for Teresa's photo shoot for "Fabulicious." Next up, the kitchen of the Gorga house in Montville.  We next see Jacqueline entering The Craft by Tia on Paterson Avenue in Midland Park for a taro card reading and advice.  It's moving day at 333 River St. in Hoboken and the whole Manzo family helps out (then eats pizza and drinks champagne out of paper cups).  The Laurita home in Franklin Lakes is the next stop, followed by the Manzo home, also in Franklin Lakes.  Then it is bath time at the …

Real Housewives: Giudice Extends an Olive Branch, Holds the Cumin

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' moves toward positivity in 'Sealed with a Diss.'

"If there was more people out there like me, we would live in a better place."   — Teresa Giudice We began with Rich Wakile slurping his soup and continued with Joe Gorga ruminating on the source of his ... zest for the art of "love," first making a reference to his dad, then a "big white zit." Nice. Looking larger, though, Teresa's attitude toward her brother, even when trying to make good, was telling. Even an occasional viewer knows that attacking and "attacking back," has been an overarching theme in this series. There are those who keep their cool and those that lose it. And those, of course, that dictate cool (Caroline). The attempt at a peace-brokering letter was sweet, in that Teresa really did want to get it right without …

Real Housewives: Fashion Show Fight Fizzles

'Drop Dead Gorgas' fails to deliver the drama.

The calm after the storm was actually pretty boring. Have we gotten so used to the insanity that a quaint Halloween and bubbling gossip seems uneventful? Well, it was. The insinuation that Teresa couldn't pay attention once set her off with Danielle, sparking the now-hallowed table flip. The charge that she was a negligent mother set her off with Kathy, resulting in some finger pointing and proclamations of being "done." That's about as heated as this episode got. Posche fashion show, Posche fashion show, Posche fashion show ... it got old after they mentioned it once. I guess there was pressure for more chaos this year but nothing could live up to last year. Needs more weave. Sure, the show needs time to digest the fight and rift between …

A Steak Fit For a Housewife

Another journey into the world of the Skinny Italian

I have never been a steak eater. It was always a sore subject in my family, one that made my meat and potatoes father all the more agitated with me at the dinner table. I would pull the broccoli and the baked potato to one side of the plate and push the pieces of steak to the other, at which point my father would roll his eyes and slide his plate over to collect them. But now I realize that my problem was never with steak. It was with the way it was made. And after testing out one of The Skinny Italian’s steak recipes, I have found a way to keep my boyfriend and my father happy and well fed without cooking something I don’t want to eat. Giudice’s Papa’s Steak Pizzaiola is a great, simple blend of Italian sauce on something other than pasta…

Giudice Auction Moved To October 3

Still to be held in Towaco, according to representatives from the auction company.

According to Michael Sklar, managing partner of A.J. Willner Auctions, the public auction of household assets belonging to the family of Real Housewives of New Jersey star and Towaco resident Teresa Giudice has been moved from this Sunday, Aug. 22, to Sunday, Oct. 3. "I'm not sure exactly why it was moved," he said. "There are still some issues that need to be resolved." According to Sklar, the Giudice family appeared in bankruptcy court Monday, Aug. 16 in Newark. North Jersey.com is reporting that a judge ruled in favor of the auction's postponement to allow time for a review of the items to be sold. Sklar said that, as of right now, the action is still scheduled to take place at the Giudice family's home in Towaco on Oct. 3. A list of …
