Big MINUS! Not only has it NEVER EVER had a book I wanted (I always have to wait to get it from another library) but now they don't allow tutoring in the building! That is ridiculous! I have been in the library many times while tutoring was going on and it's not a disruption. Also, the librarians are not friendly, especially one which I'm sure everyone knows who I'm referring to. With the high school right next door and the dismissal so early, it is convenient for parents to have their child walk to the library for tutoring after school or after afterschool practices.
Montville Township Public Library

Located next to the public high school, the Montville Public Library is a bright, modern building that has obviously come a long way from its humble beginnings in the early 1900s. The library offers study rooms, a children's library, public computers and copiers and over 150 different magazines, but its most appealing feature is the large set of windows in the reading area, giving the building a natural, calming ambiance that's perfect for getting lost in a book.

Love storytime at this library with my toddler, and especially that it is available on Saturday mornings and on Wednesday evenings in addition to daytime options (allowing working parents like me to attend). It's friendly, casual and he loves the little art projects that correspond to the story theme as well. I'm so happy we started the tradition of going and that my son thinks the library is such a fun place to go.
