Hilldale is one of the township's five public elementary schools. Although it holds just as many students as any of the other elementary schools in town, it looks smaller from the outside. Its playground and sports field are located behind the school in a wooded area, obscured from the main parking lot. The school's REACH program is focused on creating responsible students with strong decision making skills and healthy self-esteem. Hot lunches, fundraisers and classroom assistance are supported by the Hilldale Parent Teacher Council.
