Woodmont Event to Help Montville Family After Loss
Two Woodmont Elementary students lost their father to cancer in September.
On Tuesday, Montville Township declared November 2013 as Pancreatic Awareness Month. A recent tragedy has brought this issue to reality for some in the township.
Mike Arezzi was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July and “he lost his battle Sept. 22 leaving behind his wife and two children,” said Theresa Steele. There will be a fundraiser sponsored by the Woodmont PTA this Saturday to benefit the Arezzi Family.
“We are having a family fun day with pumpkin painting, inflatables, face and nail painting, carnival games, a tricky tray and much more held at Woodmont School,” said Steele, adding that there will be a corn hole tournament for adults right around the corner at the Michele Sullivan Field.
