Montville Sets Holiday Dates for Garbage, Recycling Pick Up
As for Christmas trees, pickup for Section 1 will be on Thursdays, Jan 9 and 16 and Section 2 on Fridays, Jan. 10 and 17.
The Montville School District is closed through Jan. 1. School starts back up on Thursday, Jan. 2. The Montville Township Municipal Building is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. All state and local government offices will be closed on Wednesday.

Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1 are both recycling days and also holidays for the Morris County Transfer Station and Suburban Disposal. This means there will be three weeks between recycling pickups.
"In order to alleviate the burden on our residents, Suburban has agreed to pickup recycling on Saturday, Dec. 28 throughout the Township," said Maureen Laverty, Township Administrative Secretary. "The next pick up will be on Jan. 8 in accordance with our regular schedule."
