Montville Schools to Honor Eagle Scout, ShopRite Stars

Lazar has half-day Monday to Wednesday with new early-dismissal policy in effect.

Lazar will have early dismissal Monday - Wednesday at 1 p.m. and schools are closed on Thursday and Friday for the NJEA convention.

Don't forget, a change to the early dismissal schedule for Lazar was approved earlier this year at a school board meeting. 

There will be a Board of Education meeting at the Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The superintendent will discuss the violence and vandalism/HIB report as well as go over details of Discover MTHS. The full agenda can be found here.

There will also be a presentation to recognize Eagle Scout Award Troop 74 - Joseph S. Mianecki, Jr and the ShopRite Stars in the First Marking Period:

  • Academics – Claire Kim
  • Athletics – Kirstin Godau
  • Leadership – Jacob Fleisig
  • Community Service – Paul Romeo
  • Art – Jenay Crispyn
Also on Monday, the Residents w/Disabilities Advisory Committee will meet at the Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
