Neon Sign Discussion, PARCC Pilot Assessments and More This Week

On Tuesday, the Montville School board will meet at the municipal building at 7:30 p.m.

Superintendent Paul Fried will discuss the PARCC Pilot Assessments. There will also be a presentation from Greg Schmitt for his Eagle Scout Award, recognition of ShopRite Stars for the Second Marking Period, Parent access presentation from Austin Thomsen and a Budget Development presentation from the superintendent.

There are two winter concerts this week, both at 7 p.m. at MTHS. On Wednesday, the 7th and 8th graders will have their winter concert and it’s the 6th graders’ turn on Thursday.

The township housing committee will meet at 4 p.m. and later the planning board will meet at 7 p.m. both at the municipal building. The planning board’s master plan subcommittee will discuss the township’s temporary sign ordinance related to neon signs.

Hilldale’s family laser light show is Friday night.
