Lewis and Clark presentation at the library also scheduled.

Parrotbeach: The last concert in the Montville Township Recreation Department's "Concerts in the Park Series" is Thursday and the music is sure to make some attendees feel like "wasting away again in Margaritaville." Parrotbeach, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, is scheduled to play the Community Park Amphitheater on Aug. 22 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs so that they can comfortably watch and sing along to their favorite songs. Parking is available behind Montville Township High School and the Montville Township Public Library on Horseneck Road.

Blood Drive: A community blood drive is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday at ONE Human Performance, 2 Changebridge Road. All donors will receive a free Dunkin Donuts gift card and a chance to win a one-month group fitness membership, according to an announcement. For more information or to sign up call 973-917-3136.

Lewis and Clark: Author and presenter Gordon Ward is scheduled to present "Rediscovery and Inspiration along the Lewis and Clark Trail" and sign books at the Montville Township Public Library from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The program details Ward's 1,800-mile journey along the Missouri, Clearwater, Snake and Columbia Rivers revisiting the places explored by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark as they searched for the Northwest Passage more than 200 years ago.
