'Recycle Day' Hosted by Township Saturday

Residents can bring paper, electronics to the municipal building to be recycled.

On Saturday,  Annual Recycle Day will be held in the parking lot of the Municipal Building at 195 Changebridge Road from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Montville Environmental Commission, working with the community outreach of Cintas Document Management and Urban Renewal, is offering this day of free paper shredding and collection of computers and electronics to Montville residents.

Urban Renewal Corp. (URC), of Newark, will have a truck ready for the collection of computers monitors, printers, faxes and other electronic items. These electronic items will be brought back to the URC headquarters where they are separated, weighed, broken down and refurbished into a new life instead of ending up in a landfill.

Bicycles will also be collected at this truck.
