Strong Storms, Hail Expected Thursday Evening

Montville could see large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain and lightning.

Montville could get hit with some severe weather Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

From the NWS web site:

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Low around 73. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
