Declaration of Independence Will Be Read at Doremus House

Montville Township Historical Society will celebrate Fourth of July with special ceremony.

The Montville Township Historical Society will remind people of the meaning of the Fourth of July this holiday season as the group will present a special ceremony for the reading of the Declaration of Independence.

In honor of the holiday, a reading will be held on July 4 at 10 a.m. at the Henry Doremus House, 490 Main Road.

Following the ceremony, attendees will be able to tour the Henry Doremus House.

Parking will be available in the Sea Breeze parking lot across the street. The event is being hosted by the Montville Tea Party.
