A tight contest throughout—Montville trailed 35-34 heading into the fourth quarter—the Mustangs comeback bid on Thursday night was aided by a 12-for-12 performance from the line, including Tom Preztak’s two free throws late, which sealed the win for Montville.
Matt Cohen finished with seven points for Montville, while Ryan Brogan netted a game-high 18 points for Pequannock (1-2).
