PHOTOS: MBSA Opens 60th Season

Past presidents return to field for softball and baseball season's Opening Day Saturday.

The Montville Baseball & Softball Association (MBSA) kicked off their 60th anniversary season Saturday with a special opening ceremony that invited several past presidents of the association to centerfield to be honored.

All teams paraded to the River Road field from the and gathered to hear the national anthem followed by the opening ceremony and first pitches of the season. Past presidents from years dating back to 1963 were honored and given MBSA windbreakers and former league players Bill and Joe O'Dowd threw the first baseball pitches while Member Carmela Novi threw the first softball pitch.
