Katelyn Cannarozzi, Lauren Ferguson, Darianne Mastricola and Brittany Miller each scored for Jefferson, with Ferguson also notching two assists. Jefferson goalie Lexi Taveras stopped two shots in the win.
Jess Miller scored for Montville, and Mustang goalie Lindsay Karback made 13 saves in the loss.

The Montville girls volleyball team was defeated by Garfield, 2-1, according to NJ.com. Gillian O'Dowd had 10 kills and five blocks for Montville (3-12).

Touchdowns from Devyn Sanchez and Steve Strumolo helped Jefferson stop Montville, 14-13, on Thursday night, according to NJ.com. Nolan Ehntholt and Jon Lacy each scored for Montville, with a missed extra-point after Lacy’s score leading to the loss.
