Montville Volleyball Heads to State

The Mustangs recently celebrated their senior players.

After much success and making school history, the Montville girls volleyball team is headed to the NJSIAA Tournament.

"We have our first state game on Wednesday," said Head Coach Pat Lyons. "We are currently 24-3 and ... we are ranked 8th in the state."

Their first-round match is at home against Freehold Boro High School.

"The Montville High School Girls Volleyball team recently celebrated their Senior players with a straight set victory over Mt. Olive," said Montville Mayor Tim Braden. "The victory set a new school record for wins in a season ...  Next up is the State Tournament when the Lady Mustangs host Freehold Borough."
