Montville Team Crowned Michelle Fund Champ
Montville Black U14 team the first from town to win annual event.
In the first 13 years of the Michelle Fund Tournament has been held, there has never been a winner from Montville.

The Montville Black team U14 softball team, managed by Montville Mayor Tim Braden, defeated the Livingston Thunder 5-0 Sunday evening at Manchester Park to win the championship.

The fund's originators, Leo and Theresa Sullivan, parents of Michelle, watched the game from the stands.
There were 60 teams that competed in the three-day tournament. Theresa Sullivan said the event and the fund helps keep their daughter's name alive.
