Montville Football Coach Leaves for New Job

Jim Delaney, the Mustangs coach the past two seasons, will coach at Wallkill Valley, according to a news report.

Montville Township High School football coach Jim Delaney has resigned his post in Montville so he can work closer to his home, according to the Daily Record.

Delaney, who will coach at Wallkill Valley, told the newspaper it's difficult to leave Montville and the Mustangs have "a lot of good kids coming back."

Delaney came to Montville from High Point in 2011. The team was winless his first year and won three games this year.
