Montville Business Donates to Breast Cancer Awareness
The dance studio has a few dancers who are breast cancer survivors.
Last month was Breast Cancer Awareness month and there were many local efforts to support the cause. Fred Astaire Dance Studio was one of the local businesses that helped out.
“We just donated to the Chilton hospital for Breast cancer awareness,” said Owner Nadia Goulina. “We raised $100 from our students for the Paint the Towns Pink foundation at Chilton Hospital.”
She added that there were some personal ties that made the cause one that was close to their hearts.

“We have some breast cancer survivors dancing at our studio, which is an amazing thing to see how much they have accomplished since beating cancer,” said Goulina.
She added, “we are constantly trying to find ways to give back as much as we can, and hope to help more survivors in the future.”
