More Than 500 Readers Finish Summer Club

Montville Township Public Library concluded summer reading program Wednesday.

Hundreds of kids will be headed back to school this year having read a few books through the library's summer reading club.

The concluded its summer reading club Wednesday with face painting and cupcake decorating. Library Director Allan Kleiman told the Montville Township Public Library Board of Trustees Monday that more than 500 children were enrolled in this year's program. After completing the books, children were given prizes and coupons for local food establishments.

"The amount of children who came to the library each week to get their little prize and their coupon is very much appreciated," Kleiman said.
