Montville Schools' Preschool Enrollment Begins

Applications are now being accepted. Sign up now before classes fill up.

The Montville School District has started accepting applications for the 2014-15 Integrated Preschool Program.

The Department of Special Services, 86 River Road, will accept applications for enrollment until all classes are filled. It’s first come first serve and it’s for preschool ages 3 and 4.

The program is for children with and without special needs. Kids will “be educated together in an innovative, child-centered program designed to promote the academic, social, emotional and language development of every child,” according to the school flyer.

The curriculum is state approved, “which is aligned with the NJ Department of Education’s guidelines for high-quality early childhood education and designed to ensure students are prepared to successfully transition into kindergarten.”

There will be a certified Speech and Language Specialist, Occupational Therapist,  instruction in art, music and media as well as school assemblies, special programs, theme days and field trips.

For 3-year-olds, it’s three half-day sessions per week. For 4-year-olds, it’s five half-day sessions per week. Tuition rates have not yet been determined.
