Montville Schools Face Harlem Wizards for $500 Grant

Teachers and parents try win the funds for their school Saturday night.

Montville teachers and parents will face the Harlem Wizards Saturday night for a chance to win $500 for their school.

The school team that scores the most points against the Wizards will win a $500 grant for the school to use toward inclusion of children of all abilities.

The Pathways for Exceptional Children event also features a "Hoops for Reading" free-throw contest between the schools at 6:15 p.m. The top winners will receive trophies and $100 will be donated to their media center.

The games follow the contest at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Barry's Montville Pharmacy on Changebridge Road, Montville Recreation or online at www.PathwaysKids.org.
