Update: Library Opening Late due to Snow

Winter storm warning issued, 4 to 8 inches expected.

Old Man Winter appears to be sticking around a little longer.

The National Weather Service has now issued a winter storm warning for the area with 4 to 8 inches of snow expected by Thursday morning.

The Montville public library has announced a delayed opening due to the weather. It will open at 12 noon instead of the usual opening of 9 a.m.

The Montville Township School District has announced all schools will have a two-hour delayed opening Wednesday. St. Pius X and Trinity Chirstian schools are reporting no delays at this time.

The storm will cause slick traveling conditions and produce winds between 10 and 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 20 miles per hour, causing visibility to be reduced to one-quarter to one-half mile a times, the NWS said.
