Montville Schools Closed Thursday

Superintendent says six out of seven school buildings are without power.

For the fourth day this week, Montville Township Public Schools will close Thursday.

According to Superintendent Dr. Paul Fried, six of the district's schools are without power. M.E.D.L.C. will also be canceled for Thursday.

The only school building with power is the Cedar Hill Elementary School, which Montville Township has designated as a comfort station and shelter for those in need of a place to stay overnight. Cedar Hill has a separate room designated for sheltering pets, as well as power and outlets to charge electronic devices.
