11 Violence, 31 Bullying Cases in Montville Schools Last Year, State Reports

State releases school Violence and Vandalism Report.

Officials from the New Jersey Department of Education released Thursday the 2012-13 school year Violence, Vandalism and Substance Abuse in the Schools Report.

Montville School District had 4,023 enrolled students with 11 incidents of violence, 12 incident of vandalism, 2 incidents with weapons, 9 incidents with substances and 31 HIB (bullying) for a total of 63 incidents.

Twice a year a violence and vandalism report of the Montville School District is presented at a school board meeting.

Across Morris County, there were 77,928 students with 289 incidents of violence, 101 incidents of vandalism, 32 incidents with weapons, 173 incidents with substances and 540 HIB for a total of 1,103 incidents. 

Montville didn't make this list, but here's the 20 NJ School Districts with the Most Bullying Incidents for the 2012-2013 school year.
