Hilldale Principal to Retire After 45 Years

Marianne Dispenziere to leave district at the end of the year.

After 45 years of serving as an educator in the Montville Township Public Schools district, Hilldale Elementary School's principal, Marianne Dispenziere, will retire at the end of the year.

The board of education accepted her retirement, set for June 30, with regret, at a meeting earlier this month. Board members acknowledged Dispenziere's commitment to the Montville community, as she has been an active volunteer, and particularly her long term of service to the school district.

"That's just an amazing accomplishment," Board Member Jackie Ritschel said.

Dispenziere did not wish to comment on her retirement, but board members said she certainly will be missed.
