The Montville Township Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to consider two separate home addition applications at its Wednesday night meeting. The board has pushed back to September the next hearing on a controversial application to renovate and add parking to .

The zoning board is scheduled to continue hearing Wednesday an application for a second-story addition to a home in an industrial area at 299 Changebridge Road. The owners, Mahesh and Vina Patel, are seeking a lot line change and front setback variances.

And a new application to build an addition, including a garage, at 42 Crescent Road also is on the agenda. The owner, Asanka Dharmakeerthi, is seeking setback variances.

Lake Valhalla Club pushed back until Sept. 7 the next hearing on its application to renovate its facilities and add more than 72 parking spaces, including overflow parking in a grove and on a ball field. The application most recently was heard at .

An attorney for residents who oppose the private country club's plan has said the club needs a variance to continue hosting weddings on the 40-acre site.

Additional testimony on the club's plan originally was expected Wednesday, but the club wanted more time to prepare to answer questions from the board, the Land Use Department said.
