Minnesota Vikings Owner Advised to Pay $15.1M to Rachel Gardens Partners

The money will cover the attorney fees and other costs acquired by partners who were cheated out of profits for more than 20 years.

After a state Superior Court judge in Morristown ruled in September that the Wilfs cheated their partners in a Montville apartment complex out of profits for more than two decades, a court-appointed attorney made a recommendation to the Wilfs to pay $15.1 million to their partners, according to NJ.com.

The money will cover their partners' attorneys’ fees and other costs, according to NJ.com.

Back in September, the defendants were ordered to pay Ada Reichmann of Canada and Josef Halpern of Brooklyn, N.Y., who are siblings, $84.5 million in compensatory and punitive damages plus interest.

Real estate power Zygmunt “Zygi” Wilf—who is the principal owner of the Minnesota Vikings—and his brother Mark Wilf and cousin Leonard Wilf, cheated Reichmann and Halpern by cutting them out of revenues and violated the state’s civil racketeering statute, according to State Superior Court Judge Deanne Wilson's ruling.
