The Montville Open Space Committee stated its intentions to begin developing the township's available open space land at its meeting on August 25.
According to Mayor Jim Sandham, the committee hopes to implement some kind of trail system on the township's land.
"We want trails, at the very least," he said. "We want people to be able to walk on some trails in Montville."
