Twp. Paving Projects To Continue, More To Start Next Week

Route 202 will be closed from Nowak Lane South to Fulton Street.

The paving continues in Montville. The township said to drive carfully as some manhole covers will be raised as much as 6 inches above the road surface and can damage your car.

Morris County will be resurfacing part of Route 202/Main Road in Montville this Tuesday and it should last for about eight days. Route 202 will be closed in sections from Nowak Lane South to Fulton Street, so plan alternate routes.

A section of Church Lane will continue to be closed to all traffic and may remain closed up through Friday, Oct. 11. The section is between the new Animal Shelter at 7 Church Lane and the Board of Education offices / Montville Fire Department building at 86 River Road. These county emergency repairs started last Friday and will last for up to four weeks. Use Millers Lane or River Road to get around the construction for now.
