Montville's Natural Resource Inventory Updated

The plan will be discussed at a public hearing next month.

An updated version of a document that details and maps geology, hydrology, soils, wetlands, vegetation, contaminated sites and historic and cultural features in Montville Township has been released for the first time in nearly 20 years, the township announced.

The Environmental Commission and the Master Plan subcommittee of the Montville Planning Board announced the release of the updated Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) and said the plan is available for public review and comment.

The NRI is used when development applications are reviewed and amendments to the Master Plan and Land Development Regulations are considered.
