Freeholders to Meet With Public in Montville

Elected officials will bring traveling meeting to the township on Wednesday.

Morris County freeholders will be making a visit to Montville this week as part of their traveling meeting series.

The freeholders will be visiting the Montville Township Municipal Building on Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. The freeholders have been hosting traveling meetings in the towns they serve for the past six years.

"When we leave Morristown, the county seat, and take some of our public meetings into the towns, it gives the freeholders the opportunity to meet face-to-face and to exchange ideas with local officials and to seek their input on the various issues that affect their communities," said Freeholder Director and Montville resident Tom Mastrangelo.

In addition to the Montville meeting, freeholders are planning to hold future meetings in Jefferson, Boonton and Mount Olive this year.
