County Road Paving to Close Parts of Route 202 in Montville

This project started Friday and will last for two weeks.

There’s been a lot of paving work done around Montville.

Morris County started milling and repaving work on Route 202 (Main Road) between Fulton Street at the Boonton border and Nowak Lane near the entrance ramp to I-287 South. This project started Friday and will last for about two weeks. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Because parts of the road is too narrow to leave just one lane open during the construction, the road will close completely to all traffic at certain sections, such as between Valhalla Road and River Road, so plan detours and alternate routes.
