Camp Dawson to Be More Accessible to Handicapped

Township hoping to create safer facility for handicapped residents.

will soon be able to be enjoyed by all residents as is in the process of making advancements to the facility that would accomodate the needs of handicapped individuals.

Township Administrator Victor Canning spoke about the changes at Tuesday's township committee meeting. Among the new features are handicapped access ramps to the bleacher area, handicapped parking and an area where residents who are handicapped or otherwise could walk without having to walk through the parking lot.

Committeeman Scott Gallopo also spoke about the improvements to the park and said it will be a much safer facility.
