26th District Politicians Begin Re-Election Campaign

Pennacchio, DeCroce and Webber vie for seats in Montville's district.

Sen. Joe Pennachio, Assembly Republican leader Alex DeCroce and Assemblyman Jay Webber launched their re-election campaign for seats in the 26th district at the Whippany VFW on Wednesday.

Montville resident and Library Board trustee Lisa Lobiando introduced the politicians, calling them “our team.”

“I want to thank you all for coming out to support three dedicated individuals who have been fighting hard to reign in the out-of-control spending and bring common sense back to the Garden State,” she said.

Pennacchio said that he looked forward to a “vigorous campaign.”

“We look forward to…continuing our hard work toward making New Jersey a more affordable place for all of use to live and raise our families."

DeCroce said he would fight for Republican principals, calling for “less government, less spending and less taxes.”

Webber said that the campaign would be about “continuing the progress the Garden State has made in the last year.”

“We will continue to reduce taxes,” he said. “Remove regulatory obstacles to economic growth and job creation; reform our educational system to put children, parents, and taxpayers first; control property taxes; and make New Jersey an affordable state for all.”

The three Legislators are running together in the 26th  Legislative District which includes Montville. Pennacchio’s head office is located in Montville.
