Woodbridge Bank Robbery Suspect Similar to Pine Brook

Authorities have not yet claimed a connection.

The description of the suspect in the Pine Brook bank robbery that took place on August 2 matches that of an individual suspected of robbing a bank in Woodbridge on August 4.

The Woodbridge incident took place at 3:20 p.m. at Sovereign Bank Wednesday afternoon. According to the FBI's BanditTrackerNortheast website, authorities are looking for white male in his late 20's or early 30's, approximately 5'10", wearing a stocking cap with eyeglasses underneath.

The suspect of the Pine Brook robbery is also described as a white male in his early 30's, approximately 5'10", with a stocking cap and eyeglasses.

Though authorities are looking to a possible connection between the Pine Brook incident and similar robberies in West Orange, Whitehouse, Paramus and Boonton, they have not yet confirmed a connection between those incidents and the robbery in Woodbridge.

Woodbridge, in Middlesex county, is approximately 40 miles away from Montville.
