Update: Police Investigating Apparent Pine Brook Plaza Burglaries

More than $4,000 dollars reported missing.

Police are investigating three apparent burglaries and two apparent attempted burglaries that occurred early Saturday morning at Pine Brook Plaza on Route 46 in Pine Brook after multiple windows appeared to be smashed out at the , Blimpie, No. 1 Wok’s and Bambinos Pizzeria.

The Morris County Criminal Investigation Unit, along with the Montville Township Police Department, responded to the scene and checked for fingerprints and any other evidence that was available, according to police

At about 3:04 a.m. Saturday morning, the Donut Dugout, Blimpie and No. 1 Wok’s were all allegedly broken into and a total of $4,090 was stolen, according to Montville Police Sgt. Mark Olsson.

Police reported that $850 cash was stolen from the Donut Dugout, $3,000 cash from Blimpie, and $240 in cash and coins from No. 1 Wok’s.

Olsson also reported that at about 2:12 a.m. on Saturday D & D Liquors, 6 Bloomfield Ave., was allegedly broken into and at 5:45 a.m. L & L Service Station, 26 Route 46 West, was also the scene of an alleged attempted break-in. Details of both are not available at this time. Both locations are within a half mile of Pine Brook Plaza.

"We got word from Fairfield that Sam’s Gas Station, on the border of Fairfield and Montville, was also broken into over the night and they were investigating that,” Olsson said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the alleged break-ins to please call the Montville Police Department at 973-257-4300

No. 1 Wok's was also the site of an apparent break-in last August.
