A Towaco man was arrested last week by Montville police and turned over to Lincoln Park police for charges related to two purse thefts, according to NorthJersery.com.

Russell Baker, 32, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 15 and allegedly admitted to stealing a purse from a 92-year-old woman in Lincoln Park, a purse from the Little Falls ShopRite and credit card fraud at a Totowa gas station, according to NorthJersey.com

The Little Falls Police Department Detective Bureau sent out a Nixle alert and photo in attempt to identify Baker.

After Baker stole the purse from the Little Falls ShopRite on Jan. 4, he “then used the victim’s credit cards at Home Depot in Totowa, the BP gas station in Totowa and then dumped the purse on Route 202 near the Wayne/Lincoln Park border," police said. The two photos Little Falls PD sent out included Baker in the ShopRite and his car at the gas station.
