Trio Accused of Having Drug Parahernalia, Breaking Into Cars

Montville Police found them sitting in a parked car at Rachel Gardens

Three people were found inside a parked car when officers were investigating a series of car burglaries at Rachel Gardens Sept. 4.

When officers approached the the group, a hypodermic needle's cap, a cotton swab and a bottle cap—items that are used often when injecting heroin were spotted in plain sight, according to NJ.com.

It turns out the vehicle the trio were in didn't belong to anyone in the group, police said. The vehicle was unlocked, so the the three got in, police said.
