'Real Housewives' Star's Trial Date Postponed

Reality television star accused of using brother's information to obtain driver's license.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's husband will have some more time with his family and television cameras before he possibly ends up behind bars as his trial date on fraudulent ID charges has been pushed back, according to examiner.com.

Teresa Giudice and husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice were separately indicted in July on 39 counts of fraud by a federal grand jury, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said. Additionally, Giuseppe Giudice was charged with failure to file tax returns for income received between 2004 and 2008, during which time he allegedly earned approximately $1 million.

If convicted on the multiple charges, the Giudices could serve more than 50 years in prison each and be forced to pay more than $600,000 in fines.

Joe Giudices' other trial, on charges he used his brother's identifying information to obtain a driver's license when his was suspended, was initially scheduled to begin on Oct. 8 but was pushed back to Oct. 28 because of a conflicting case, examiner.com reported.

Correction: An earlier version of this story indicated Teresa Giudice's fraud trial date was pushed back.
